Christine Tran is deeply engaged in working with low-income communities of color to address wealth, racial, and social inequities. As an experienced community organizer, she has worked at the local, state, and national level to bridge the gaps faced by marginalized communities in education, civic engagement, and social assistance programs. Prior to joining GRACE, Christine worked with the Center on Budget and Policy Priorities in Washington, D.C. to implement tax policies focused on alleviating financial burdens during the COVID-19 pandemic. Christine seeks to leverage her organizing work to strengthen the social safety net by becoming a policy maker with a community perspective.
Christine holds a B.A. in International Development Studies and Asian American Studies and minor in Public Affairs from the University of California, Los Angeles.
