Sister Chris Maggi was born in San Francisco, CA. She received her B.Sc. in Biology in 1979 from the University of San Francisco and entered the Daughters of Charity in 1980.
Sister Chris served as a junior high school teacher in San Francisco, Carson City, Nevada and Los Angeles for ten years. She received an M.A. in Private School Administration in 1999 from the University of San Francisco, and served as principal at Our Lady of Talpa School in Los Angeles from 1993-2000.
From 2000-2004, Sister Chris served as Provincial Secretary at Seton Provincialate. From 2004-2007, she served as principal at Our Lady of the Visitacion School, San Francisco. Today, she serves as Provincial Councillor for Education at Seton Provincialate.
